The Flushing Inspection with Simulation is a test used in the factory to check if the toilet's flushing system is strong enough to clear waste materials under realistic conditions. Unlike simple flush tests, this one uses specially prepared simulation tools that mimic the shape and weight of actual waste, making it a more practical and reliable test.
Each simulation tool is a small plastic bag filled with tea water and shaped to specific dimensions. Here is how each tool is prepared:
Fill the plastic bag with 37 ± 2 ml of tea water.
Diameter of the bag: 25 mm
Length of the bag: 140 mm
Binding intervals: 42 mm, 36 mm, and 42 mm
Total quantity: 4 simulation tools per test
The tea water gives the bag a realistic density, and the binding intervals give it a shape that is similar to solid waste.
Place all 4 simulation tools inside the toilet pan.
Flush the toilet and observe how many tools get cleared.
Repeat this for a total of 10 flushing cycles.
Record how many tools are cleared in each cycle.
The toilet passes the test if it clears at least 3 out of 4 simulation tools in at least 8 out of the 10 flushing cycles. If the toilet fails to meet this standard, the flushing system needs to be checked and corrected before the product can be dispatched.
A toilet that does not flush waste properly is one of the biggest quality complaints in the field. Running this test at the factory level ensures the flushing performance is reliable and consistent, so every product that goes to the customer works exactly as expected.
